Dr. Nayan K. Kothari is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and St. George’s University School of Medicine in New Brunswick, New Jersey. A board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Kothari has dedicated his career to advancing medical education, clinical training, and compassionate patient care. He has held leadership roles as Emeritus Chair, Program Director, and Chief Academic Officer at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, where he also founded the Simulation Center and Institute for Bedside Medicine. A Master of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Dr. Kothari has been recognized with numerous teaching awards and the prestigious Presidential Medal in Education from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. His lifelong commitment to scholarship and mentorship continues to shape future generations of physicians.
